Sofasofa - any good?

Hello, I'm tempted by the sofas on sofasofa but I've never bought from them before. Anyone had any experience, good or bad, with them? And I'm dithering between the Florence, the Hobbs and the Agatha if anyone's actually bought any of these styles and has any advice? Thanks.

I've had two sofas from there about 12 years ago. They were fine, one was a sofa bed and it was well made. Delivery was good too. No idea if they've changed quality wise in that time but I was very happy with what we bought.

my parents bought their sofas from there, also about 12 or 15 years ago.

They have taken good care of them and they still look really good and are comfy too.

Fabulous company! Our first suite from them lasted about 13 years and then it was still good enough to pass on... I wanted a new one for our new house!!

Our new sofas were from there about 3 or 4 years ago. There was a minor problem with one after a couple of years and they sorted it out with no quibbles!

Would highly recommend them.

We bought some of their very cheapest and we only kept them 4 years, but they were massively cheaper than other places. Service and delivery were superb. I'd buy from them again but would travel to the showroom to see them first.

Thanks for all your help. I'm keen on one, but it seems much cheaper than the others. It has loose covers. Does that make it cheaper?

I love sofa sofa. Sometimes they have fabulous deals.

mumtomaxwell · 04/11/2018 16:58

The first time I bought from them they had a show stand in London which was easier for me than travelling to Cardiff!

Also they let you return it within the first 21 days even if you’ve just changed your mind!

No idea why loose covers might be cheaper... but I remember being shocked by the prices of sofas in other shops when we wanted to replace our original ones from sofa sofa!

I have the Madrid sofa bed and armchair. They are 15 years old and still in fabulous condition. I'm thinking of treating myself to some new covers soon because I've gone off the colour.

Had 2 lots of sofas from them, one is 15 plus years old still going strong, it’s a loose cover and can just throw covers in the machine, some of the cushions need to be recovered now but the main body of the sofa is good as new, also have 2 leather sofas from them about 3 years ago I love them apart from the leather has cracked a bit on one in a small area, but would definitely buy from them again.

KevinTheYuccaPlant · 05/11/2018 19:25

I have 10-year-old and 14-year-old Madrid sofas from them still going strong.

I'm sitting on one of our 12 year old leather sofas from Sofa sofa. Definitely we'll made and you get a lot for your money.

I'd ring and ask them, IIRC they do a range of price points and I expect some are cheaper/aimed at rentals or it may just be end of line.

I bought a sofa bed from them about 20 years ago, and it's still in our bedroom! The only thing I found was that the seat pads didn't stay as plumped as I'd like, but we just added some Ikea ones when they got a bit saggy to give them a bolster.

MsNowtyBach · 05/11/2018 21:04

Excellent company! British made and good quality at a very reasonable price.

LegArmpits · 05/11/2018 21:07

Definitely recommend these above ScS. Sofa's really comfy and their covers wash and wash (even the ones you're supposed to get dry cleaned.)
Good friendly service and delivery too.
