Any plumbers about?

Doing a DIY job of plumbing in the new kitchen sink and one of the connectors is missing it’s washer. I don’t have a spare and nowhere that would stock them is open locally.

What can I use from around our normal home as a temporary washer so I can turn the water on tonight, and fix it properly in the morning?

Can you take one off the washing machine, or something else?

What sort of connector is it, a compression fitting that uses brass/copper olives?

Compression fitting.

I managed to dismanatle an old shower head and it will hopefully hold for the night. Exciting trip to Wickes in the morning though.

A bit late but i wouldn't leave the water on overnight with any kind of temporary fix in place, water can do a lot of damage.
