Hi,

Has anyone sold/ brought a property with these guys?
We have put our flat on the market with them but the have been MIA since we signed the contract.
Their response to my third un answered email was a phone call asking if two of their team could pop round and view our flat as they hadn't seen it.
The sales administrator can be frosty at best!
When they were trying to get me to sign up with them they were all over me. They even managed to find a 'potential buyer' to view the property when I said I was planning to go with another agent. We never had any feedback from that despite chasing.
I've never sold a property before so and advise would be great.

To be honest your area is very subdued atm so probably nothing to report... Doesn't excuse unanswered emails though... that's just lazy and rude

They are not great here in my part of London, well known for over valuing properties, yy market here has slowed considerably as well.
Maybe when your contract is up, get a few more valuations from other EA in the area & remarket in January if you are not in a mad hurry to sell.

I’ve only rented through them and they were horrific! So unresponsive and unhelpful.

Known for being overpriced - similar to F**ns. Badger you for business then don't do much for their over inflated fees. Easy money a couple of years ago but that area of London is seeing quite significant price falls now.

The SW London ones are to be avoided so imagine the same over your way. As pp have said they overprice to an insane level to get listing. Might have worked a few years ago but in a falling London market that bullish, price it high attitude will put buyers off.

Although I think the unanswered emails are rather out of order, I don't expect an estate agent to contact me unless they have a potential lead, or they think it's time to drop the price.
Is your property in the window with good pictures, is it featured in the papers, is it online with good descriptions, floor plans etc. I expect them to concentrate on the marketing of the property rather than updating me with 'nothing really'.
