I have a broken freestanding washing machine and when someone came out to have a look at it today I mentioned it’s a pain that it didn’t last a while longer as I’m going to order a new kitchen and I’ll be getting an integrated machine

He suggested if I had water supply to the garage to transfer the repaired machine to the garage as it would be better than having an integrated machine

I quite like the idea of setting up a utility room in the garage as the tumble dryer and a freezer are already there but I haven’t a water supply there I have an external tap on the side of my house which is about 8metres away from our separate garage separated by a concrete drive

So I’d really if it’s a possibility to get a water supply to the garage and how difficult/costly it would be?

Thanks in advance

We had a surface mounted source out to our brick shed only about 2 metres and we did have to be aware that it could freeze in the winter! Had it well lagged and lived in SE.

Why not ask if anyone is a plumber? Hmm

You also need a drain not just a water supply

Bodear because I’m an idiot who doesn’t think things through will see if I can change it

Aw thanks OP. I feel bad for putting the face now. Have Brew instead. Cheers!
