Completion day

The end is in sight! Just wondering what I do on moving day. The removal company are packing and moving. It’s a fairly small flat so what do I do with myself?! Should I be there?

Also, I’ve booked the Talk Talk engineer for 1pm at the new property which is about 20 minutes away. If the removal people haven’t finished packing/moving in my old place, can I leave them to it and go to the new place?

Completion will have already happened so not waiting for transfer of funds/people to move our.

When is completion on the flat you are living in? Are new people moving in on the day your are moving out?

I’m going to be letting it so no completion pressures at either property.

Your removal company will want you to be there to confirm that nothing is left behind before they close the van from your first place.
It is surprisingly easy to leave things like mirrors or things in the garden, so they won't want to leave without your say-so.
Then you need to be on hand in the new place to direct them what you want placing where.
When are you planning to clean either property?
