I have so many testers and they’ve all come out completely different to what’s on the tin and not sure if it’s the colour I was looking for!!! So far I’ve tried almost oyster, natural calico, eygyptian cotton, timeless and natural hessian!! My walls have been newly plastered and have a white canvass!!

We had Calico in our hall and bedroom and painted over it Within 2 years. If we bought anything neutral, cream or ligh it just never worked. The hall always felt dull despite being flooded with light.

No experience of the other colours but I like 1 & 3 from your testers.

Don't dismiss darker colours, just because it's a small room. this app allows you to visualise your room in different colours I find it very useful.

Thank you I’m just going to test nutmeg white and that will be the tester!! Everything seems dark because we’ve had to paint the plaster white so difficult to compare

I painted a room in Egyptian cotton once and then hated it instantly. But I lived with it for about 4 years before bothering to paint it again. I am SO happy every time I go into that room now!!

There is a dulux shade called Just Walnut that is a really neutral colour, it’s really nice. It’s a ‘greige’, not as cold as a grey but not the sickliness of a beige.
