Has anyone used Sheraton interiors for their kitchen (based in Twickenham)? They have second nature, Schuller and next125 kitchens.
Or anyone who has had a schuller kitchen - how pricey did it end up being please?!

We have a next 125 kitchen! We live in Luxembourg (but used to live in Teddington, weirdly!) and bought it in Germany, so there may have been a slight price difference. Ours is quite big (6m run at the back with a 3m island) and with a some bells and whistles like pull-out larder, double sinks, nice hob, double ovens, quartz worktops etc it was around 25k (euro). Price included installation and the box with spotlights and exhaust fan) over the island for the cooker.

Oh that’s good to know! Is next 125 the better brand of schuller? If we could get something for around that it would be so good!
So you’re really happy? Would you do anything differently out of interest?

I’m quite pleased in theory, but it won’t be installed until next week, so can let you know once I see it in place! Next 125 is Schuller’s high end line, v similar to the Poggenpohl in terms of craftsmanship and clever solutions without the price tag. We did have to do some serious trimming initially as my full wish list was going to be closer to 40k. I think to get that price and size you may have to prioritize what you really want vs what would be nice to have. We ended up ditching the design where we had both a full size fridge and full size freezer as the casing is surprisingly pricey and the appliances are not cheap. We’ve just got a second fridge freezer in the utility, which works just as well and was about 1.5k cheaper. We also stacked the ovens instead of having two tall units with one in each (also surprisingly expensive). Also ditched the single sheet quartz backsplash to match the worktops. I feel pretty happy with it overall though obviously in a perfect world with bigger budget I’d have done a bit more! This is what it’s meant to look like when it goes in:

We have looked pretty closely at Next125 recently, and other similar types of kitchens. Our quote was for a slightly larger kitchen than linguaphile- including the extra two tall units for the full size fridge and freezer and the side by side ovens. We looked at the Fenix doors and our designer added some wooden shelving/bookcase on one side. Total quote was around 33k euros including installation.

We also really liked the Pronorm Y Line which also has Fenix doors and is similar in style but slightly less expensive (and I expect slightly lower quality) at about 28k including installation, a couple more units and better work surface etc. We ruled out a couple of the other middle range German kitchens as they didn't do styles we liked.

We have recently had a Schuller Next 125 kitchen put in. Ours is a 3m x 3m u-shape. Whilst the end result looks great, almost every single element of the kitchen has had to be re-ordered with some bits like our end panels taking three attempts to get right... We were told that Schuller check all the designs themselves rather just relying on the kitchen designers but it's quite clear from our experience that that is not true. The attitude of the showroom we purchased from has been dreadful and all in it has taken 7 months to complete. I would be very reticent to recommend them despite the end result being stunning.

We considered them but ended up going with Rosewood Kitchens instead as they were so much better to deal with, fab quality and far cheaper! www.rosewoodkitchens.co.uk they’ve got an amazing showroom in Slough and a really lovely range....worth a peek!

So the next 125 kitchen was just installed yesterday, and it looks absolutely fabulous. No hiccups and feels really quality and expensive—def more expensive than we paid. I’m completely pleased! The installer was also v happy and said that schuller is like the Mercedes of kitchens.

Forgive the cheap Ikea chairs, they’re a stopgap until I can find what I want!

I should say, it’s not 100% finished yet—one of the sinks isn’t fully functional, they still have one door left to do and the sofits and overhead extractor box with lights, but you get the general idea.
