West facing garden

Hi, I’ve found a house I would like to buy with a west facing garden (ever so slightly NW). We currently have west facing which we are happy with.
However, at the end of the garden (which slopes upwards) is the side of another house. This has made me worry that our garden is West facing for us, but East facing from that other house. I don’t know how long we would have sunlight for in the day? The garden is of average size but slopes upward making that house slightly up a hill too.
Any thoughts?

I used to have this and we basically had sun in the afternoon but nothing after 6pm which is annoying as that is mainly when I wanted to use the garden (for bbqs etc). I wouldn’t buy a house with a similar garden again.
