Gunmetal radiators in 1950's house?

Want to be a bit brave but not sure whether to play it safe with white column rads. Am renovating to sell on in 5 years or so.

I think it probably depends on the style of the rest of the decor. Gunmetal radiators can look great in older houses or houses with more industrial or mid century style furniture and decor.

Are they a lot more expensive than white columns? If so, because you know you are planning to move, I'd stick with the cheaper and more standard option myself and spend the money on something I could take with me when I moved.

Yes, that was my thought. Not indicative of the 50's! No, they're the same price pretty much as white. Thanks so much.
