ANyone used Luvanto LVT or Quick Step?

We are trying to choose an LVT product, it’s such a minefield!
I’ve got about a zillion samples and really like the Luvanto. Also saw this on a bigger board at a local flooring shop and really liked it. However the flooring fitter is trying to get me to choose from the Quick step range instead. The Luvanto has a bit of a sheen to it, the quick step is a lot more Matt. As we are going to have spotlights he said it will look really shiny. I can’t decide as still prefer the Luvanto.

Anyone have any experience of either? It’s so hard to tell just from the little samples.

I have quick step.

I love the look and the quality is pretty good. It did expand a bit in the heat and so the joins lifted in the heat but apparently this is a fitting issue. I would buy it again.

I also have Quick Step, no issues, and love the matt finish.

You should leave an expansion gap when fitting like laminate to allow for any expansion. We technically didn't do this because it doesn't abutt anything in one direction as it goes under the bath so could expand that way.

I do agree about being careful with reflection. We have had flooring in the past with a slightly shiny surface and you do get shiny bits when you have spotlights looking down.

Oh no I’m confused again! We have just been to the showroom to see a bigger section of the Luvanto laid and it didn’t look shiny and we both really liked it, but the sample is quite shiny.

Which colour quick step have you both gone for?

Have quickstep, looks a quality finish and is waterproof, often gets mistaken for the more expensive engineered wood

It's all about the mms.

There is a 'wear layer' on the top of LVT and some are thicker than others. By seemingly tiny amounts but it all counts apparently.

We have our whole house with Tarkett LVT.

Totally didn't mean to attach that photo . I was looking for one of the floor but couldn't find one, although that is some floor there!

Sorry, I forgot to return to the thread. I have got grey wood effect, cannot remember the exact name but very happy with it.

The lifting was due to lack of expansion gaps but luckily we had used a very highly rated local independent and they came out and fixed it very quickly and without any fuss so we are very happy.

We have lots of Quickstep. No issues. Dark and shiny floors look dusty. Lighter ones not so much.

Once you decide, ring around for prices. We find large variations especially when ordering large quantities.
