Hi, I'm moving to Maidenhead in the next few months from Burnham and am starting to look at schools to send my daugher too. I have fallen head over heels with Highfield Prep but realistically I just don't think we are going to be able to afford it. Please can someone give me some insight into the best non-private schools in the area? I've heard Oldfield and Braywick Court are the best but they have a tiny catchment area which we wouldn't be in as we're moving to the St Marks area. Other schools we are looking at are St Edmunds Campion and St Mary's. We are catholic so admission shouldn't be a problem but I've heard you need to get the priest to stamp your card for attendance at church! Any insight into the schools or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
