Fitted wardrobes worth it?

We desperatley need new wardrobes as ours are falling apart.

Does anyone have fitted wardrobes? Are they ridiculously expensive? The wall is 3.6m and we could have wardrobes the full length.

I love ours. I have never had sliding doors that don’t fuck up though

We’ve just moved to a house with fitted wardrobes. The storage is fab, but it does restrict the layout you can have in the room.

We don't think we will be able to afford proper fitted wardrobes. But we are going to looking into John Lewis Mix It range or IKEA Pax which can almost be made to look like fitted wardrobes and you can pick your interior storage.

We have fitted wardrobes; there’s a lot of storage room. They fill the alcoves either side of the chimney breast.

We've got Ikea pax 3m of the extra tall, plus slim storage on top.
Bloody brilliant.
You can make them look built in with a bit of in filling.

Yes we got some from hammonds earlier this year. Amazing.

I fitted IKEA pax floor to almost ceiling. Wall to almost wall. After painting them they look totally bespoke and the interior choices are fabulous.

It took a whole weekend to put up and I thought I'd lose my mind but it was worth it.
