Amtico flooring folk - Spacia or Signature what did you go for?

Just that really. We are looking at laying wood effect Amtico flooring through the downstairs and wondering which range to choose from. Is the signature range worth the substantial extra cost compared to Spacia? Or maybe Form?

And any thoughts on finishes? Many of the woods come in "tick" or "barnwood" finish - but I can't find a description of the difference. Can anyone enlighten me?

I had NO IDEA flooring could be sooooo complicated.

Thank you!

We found the cheaper amtico range looked very plasticy. We couldn't afford posher so went with karndean as their cheaper range looked muchhh better than amtico. Found the reverse was true when spending more. Amtico then beat karndean.

Got Spacia 'tick' finish abd very happy with it. The tick finish has lots of small grooves all over it so when the light shines on it the reflection is very uniform. When we tested the other type we found it looked rather plasticy when the light shone on it. Ours is in an open plan space leading up to 6m sliding doors so how the light reflected off the surface was an important factor. Cost was something like £300 more for tick finish, on £6k total spend.

Sorry the barnwood finish has grooves cut to mimic the line of grain.

That's really helpful - thank you.

I've ordered a sample of tick and barnwood in the same colour to compare the.m directly but I'm inclined to go for tick. We have seen it in a friend's house and it does look great. Theirs was the signature range - sounds like it might be worth the extra expense

Ooh - have just noticed that yours was the Spacia tick finish - I spoke too soon! That's encouraging.

I've got spacia. Not wood finish though.

I've had it for a year and it has been great.

New cleaner just started and cackled with glee that I had amtico. Apparently it is her favourite flooring to clean....

Spacia but I’m not thrilled with it. It has scratched in places.

I've had Karndean Art Select in the hall for years and it's been really hard wearing and looks very authentic.

Just having their Art Select parquet fitted in the dining room and it is a thing of beauty. It looks so good, and very very realistic.
