Currently looking to sell our home.

Two very different price projections from EA.

Any advice on how to choose?

Thanks Grin

Some things to consider:

  • How has EA reached their price estimate? Can they supply evidence to back up their advice?
  • Are the EAs dealing with the sale of property similar to yours?
  • What tie in period would each EA expect you to sign up for?
  • Are they people you could work with? Sometimes the process can take many months from start to finish, you need to be able to have a reasonable working relationship.

One estate agent has sold several properties where we live but not one like ours. They are pricing it higher!

Another agent has not really sold properties like it but has another house that has not sold at the the first is suggesting . Although the aspect of ours is better (think view!)

The tie in period is interesting point....
