Hi. We have found a house we love which is exactly right but is heavily overlooked by a group of three terraced houses at the end of the garden and a house to one side which has a large upstairs side window which overlooks the garden. The window isn't frosted and the houses are the same age so unlikely they're going against any planning permissions etc. Has anybody got any thoughts about how to get a bit of privacy for the garden, especially for the side window, but something that won't cause tension with the neighbours? We're thinking we could do a row of pleached trees at the back or a pergola with climbing plants, but unsure what the best idea for the side is.
