Hi my friends neighbour has asked to buy a Quarter of their back garden it is a large piece of ground but there are 3other Flats so split 4 ways . The neighbour has already bought a Quarter from another neighbour , my friend is keen to sell it to him , but her Lawyer seems to think this in not possible because others own 2 quarters of it . We are confused and do not know how to proceed , can anyone shed any light on this please ? thanks .
