Central Heating question

Hi

This is probably a very stupid question with an easy answer - we have a Worcester Bosch boiler and separate water tank. We have had various building works ongoing with radiators taken off the walls and put back on. We now have all radiators back on downstairs and two of them are not working. I have bled them and checked that they have not been turned off (not sure of technical term but checked the screw to feed the water has not been turned off). The thermostats on them are also full up to 5 (to test). Nothing I have tried has coaxed them back to life - am I missing something basic? One of the radiators did have a pipe that felt like it was heating up but the radiator itself didn't get warm (picture attached). Any ideas please? Thank you

I had this as well - there is a 'on' switch for the radiators probably some sort of screw - but as I called the plumber out to turn it back on I have no idea how it was done!!

turn heating on full..
feel the pipes into and out of the rads.
if the pipe in is hot but radiator isnt, turn valve all the way one eay, then all the way the other.
if that doesnt aork still, open both valves full and bleed again until water bubles out of.bleed valve.

turn off ALL the hot radiators.

Do some of the cold ones now heat up?

If so, they need balancing.

Very common

Many thanks all I shall give the suggestions a whirl I have a feeling (as a novice) it's the balancing. Thank you I will report back!!
