If you had an extra room in your house and could do anything you wanted with it, what would you turn it into?

Yoga/reading/sewing room.

Hard floor (good for balances and finding dropped pins)
Aromatherapy diffuser
Dimmable and multicoloured lighting
Angle poise lamp on wall over sewing area
Decent size sewing table that folds flat to wall to make more space for yoga
Massive built in storage for sewing stuff and books, all the books!
Big squishy arm chair and lamp
Lots of cushions and blankets
Small TV and sound system
Sound proofed
No boys allowed

A playroom, or a dinning room.

Well, obviously it depends on what else you have already got / not got. Also depends on who lives in your house and what their interests are

So:

utility room
downstairs toilet / cloakroom
upstairs extra bathroom / shower room
study
music room
X-box room
'snug' - to just sit quietly and admire the view or read a book
storage
hobby room - somewhere to leave a half done jigsaw without it being in the way, and still there when you go back to it
Guest room

When I was designing floorplan for extension, could have done with three bedroom but I created four. The fourth room is single and small but will be so useful. On days when I am tired after work and come home e to a messy house, I will have a place to do everything (laundry, toys, books, bags etc etc)) in that room and sleep in a peaceful uncluttered bedroom.

Place to dump everything out of sight and shut the door!

Sewing room. When we move back to UK next year, the third bedroom will become our dressing room, and the polyvalent room will be my sewing room. Ds thinks if he is stop living with us, it will be his PS4 room. I have news for him and plans for my sewing room.
