My builder will be installing a new wooden decking in my back garden. Can any please advice whether I need to do the following on pre-treaded Seclo timber or is this over the top?
- for the frame, paint the timber with Sikagard Universal 5 Star Wood Treatment Clear from Screwfix before the frame is created and then use this on the cut ends.
- for the decking panels, use the same wood treatment and then coat this with Cuprinol Decking Oil and Protector. Finally apply decking paint.
