Kitchen extension -order of work?

So we 're part way through kitchen extension and although I don't yet have a roof, I'm turning my thoughts to the interior and am a bit confused as to the order of things, so have a few questions:
-We're having underfloor heating with tiles on top - do we tile whole floor before putting kitchen units in?
-Is it better to have painted the walls before installing kitchen?

TIA

Definitely paint the walls before the kitchen goes in. It is much easier to paint blank walls than to cut in around units. You can touch up any areas that need it afterwards.

You'll get conflicting answers about the floor. There isn't much point imo in tiling underneath the units as you'll never see or walk on those tiles and it's extra expense. Others will tell you that when you come to change the kitchen in 30 years time it will mean you don't need to redo the floor.

We just had our kitchen done and our builders recommended tiling under the units - they felt it was a better finish. My dad used to fit kitchens and he agreed - he's not one to spend money unnecessarily!
