Moving to Edinburgh

Dear all,

we are a family with a child (3yo) very excited to move to Edinburgh. i have read a lot but i'm still need an updated recommendation from your side.
We would like to have a house ( we have a dog ) with the Budget of Max. 800 pounds per month.

what would be the best Area for that price?
is Cameron Toll is a good place ?
Any recommended Schools ?
or any additional information/recos for our move ?
what do you think about Edinburgh as Family place to be ?

dalkeith is a lovely place to live, and just a bus ride from Edinburgh. found this property online www.zoopla.co.uk/to-rent/details/49159453?search_identifier=b0ce2a1acdb199ec015d416c98df64da that allows pets. here are some good schools in and around dalkeith:

Look at Portobello it's full of families, loads of dogs has a lovely beach and great community spirit. You could find somewhere close to the seafront in your price range I think.
