Hi, we have been on the market a week. One viewing which resulted in a second viewing that day, 2cancelled appointments and 1 viewing where they said it was too small. We are having lots of internet hits. Can you tell me what I could do to turn these guys into viewings? Thank you. www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-75687671.html

Hi, looks like a perfect family house, reasonably priced. My thoughts are that the kerb appeal and garden need to be more attractive.difficult in winter, but some tubs with winter pansies or berry plants in the front. The back garden looks as if it could also have some plants and tubs The photos of the bathroom and children’s bunk bedroom are poor and give no indication of size or aspect. The conservatory doesn’t look inviting, plants, cushions rug and seating perhaps. Hope things improve soon.

Thank you... I thought the same about the conservatory. I will invest in more plants and pots. The kids bedroom and bathroom are awkward for taking photos. I shall ask for them to be retaken. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

It looks like a lovely house. I think the only thing is your lounge looks a bit cramped because of how the tv/chest of drawers are placed. Could you re-arrange your tv/chest of drawers and swap for the book storage unit? It would make it look like you could then see the tv from both sofas comfortably. Also maybe some flowers for the front of the house and a vase of flowers on the kitchen counter. I would also get rid of the box of crisps on top of the fridge in the kitchen, also maybe more cushions for bed one. Its a really nice house, I love the wood burner, clock, and candles.

Really good sized house for the price, I would have looked at it if I was in your area. Conservatory needs more appeal so a few cushion and get photos taken from both ends, remove the box in the kitchen, kids beds should be made and show rest of room with another photo, one bedroom needs retaking to see the bed also, the main bedroom needs cushions adding and a brighter or white duvet cover. Simple changes really and have them brighten the pictures.

Those bushes in the front garden, are they yours or are the neighbour’s bushes growing over into your garden? My first thought was I couldn’t be arsed trying to keep them trimmed (very lazy gardener) but the house itself is lovely.

The house could use a little more kerb appeal and the back garden is a bit desolate. I’d wonder how much it would cost me to replace that huge sandpit with a patio. And it isn’t clear where the garden ends or what’s on the other side of that picket fence. The house looks a bit dark inside too - better photos are needed.

My twopennorth - kerb appeal; have just one garden photo for size (I’d go with the last one) and get some pretty bedding and something on the wall in the main bedroom, it looks a bit small and studenty.

Thank you everyone for you help. I will get on it.

You have a lovely home with a great garden - that’s your selling point as it’s huge and great for kids.

With it being a family home I didn’t see a place to eat a meal. You can just about see a table in the kitchen, but it’s not very clear at first glance. On the plan you can see the kitchen leads to conservatory, could you put the table in there and make it more of an eating area? Or just have the photo retaken so you can see the table?

With regard to the tv and sofa being a bit squished, you could put that two seater sofa in the conservatory (if you don’t have a table in there) and put your tv at an angle - just whilst you get it sold. This might open up the space.

I have read on here that people buy bedding to show their homes, so maybe different bedding for the main bedroom or just iron it for the photos.

I agree with other posters about giving it kerb appeal too. You can get cheap fake hanging baskets from IKEA.

Good luck.
