Airing cupboards

When I moved into my new Taylor Wimpey House (7 months ago) the cupboard in which my well lagged unvented hot water cylinder resided was always warm, quite hot even, even though I only have hot water coming on twice a day. I was surprised, thinking that all would have been too well insulated for heat but at the same time thought this is great, I can use it to air bed linen etc. Suddenly, as of two days ago, the airing cupboard has no heat at all in it. I have not altered anything, not put the central heating on yet, or changed any programmes or settings. I still have hot water. Was the very warm airing cupboard incorrect - and has it now re-set itself somehow? Or should it be warm and the current situation indicates a fault? Any opinion greatly appreciated!
