How do I find out who owns a boundary fence?

Our garden shares a fence with three other properties. Is there a easy way for me to find out who 'owns' / is responsible for maintenance of the fences? This is related to the ridiculously high winds last night Grin

Thanks in advance.

It should be on the plans you would have been given when you bought your property. It will show a T symbol that shows which side is yours. We had the exact same thing happen, last time we had bad winds which blew a fence down.

Some plans have T marks. Many don't. You need to read the title register for your house in conjunction with the title plan. The register may state who is responsible for what. If it doesn't, the presumption is that the boundary structures are a shared responsibility, but do check that the fences are actually along the boundary line rather than to one side which would likely mean they are wholly person's property and responsibility.
