Hiya. I need some extra income so am planning on getting a lodger for my spare room. I’d rather a quiet lodger so am thinking a Mon - Fri person may be the way to go? Do you know where I can advertise for this and have any of you done it successfully? Smile
Thanks!

Spareroom.com does this. I haven't done it myself.

We’ve had good results from www.spareroom.co.uk/ I haven’t advertised for a while because are laest lodger has been here for more than a year but I think you can specify Monday to Friday only.

many companies have an employee notice board where people put up bike for sale/kitten wanted/room to let adverts.

When they have people on a temporary posting, or recently moved to the area and haven't got a family home yet, they may be looking for somewhere to stay. If you know somebody who works there, they can put an ad up for you, or the HR dept might possibly do it.

Some people may drive up early on Monday morning, others may want to arrive Sunday night.

Spareroom.com but you will get LOADS of messages from people who haven't seen the M-F tag and think you are renting it full time for a low rent.

In London there is a specific website (fivenights.com) but I didn't get any interest off that.
