Anyone live in caterham? Dd looking to buy in the headstone hill area.
Seems quite and safe, if a bit dull and boring to me

Do you mean Harestone ? Caterham Valley centre suffers like many high street and traditional shopping precincts. Caterham is socially diverse and suffers usual antisocial behaviours but it is generally pretty safe. Will she be working locally or commuting?

She will be driving to Croydon for work. I have read something about the area being very badly affected if it snows. Are you local liz?

Not very local but have been through on the school run. Not too bad in snow , as you don't have to go over the hill to Croydon and the bypass is fine, if congested at times. Town centre is flood prone though. Easy to rely on public transport as Harestone Hill is close to station and bus routes.
