Clacton-on Sea

I have just read some of these comments about Clacton-on-sea. Clacton is not a bad place and has improved immensely over the last few years.
There are some wonderful places to see here, and the beaches are lovely. I come from London and have always lived in good affluent areas. I'm now moving to Clacton. I have visited many seaside towns, but I'm afraid to say, none beat Clacton. I recently visited Brighton. It is absolutely shocking and very run down. I traveled all the way along the coastline and was disappointed by what I saw. I'm from Highgate North London, Again everyone to their own, but don't run a place down until you spend time there. Jaywick was belittled by the television program, that played on the vulnerable, whilst making money, out of other peoples misery. Jawick is not so bad, and many people live there quite safe and happy. I have been to most places in England and beyond. Most places in this country have their problems, and some people are not so fortunate. There are no perfect areas, and it is usually caused by the bad influences that want to corrupt the environment. If you treat the area and home you choose to live in with respect, this will impact on others to do the same. You can't live in a bubble or gated community. You have to help make the place you live better. I chose to put my son in a secondary school just outside of Clacton, My son has special needs. He had attended a lovely primary school in Highgate and was very happy. He still remained delayed with his learning, but he was happy. I wanted him to be happy in secondary school, and decided not to send him to a large school in London. My son has been extremely happy in TTC and looks forward every morning to go to school. He is still delayed, yet he is happy and loves the life he has in Clacton and Walton. He loves the community spirit and the pleasant surroundings. He still sees his primary school friends from London, so has the best of both worlds. Again do not be to quick to judge. Don't let negative people alter your thoughts. Make your own mind up. You never know you might be surprised!!!

Maybe you should try a London school. I recently met one of my son's friends from his old primary school. I asked how he liked his new secondary school? His response was. " Every day I hope I make it home!
This was very upsetting to hear. I'm not saying all London schools are bad, but even friends that I know who work in some have told me some very disturbing stories. I think there needs to be more discipline, and that the young need to learn to respect their teachers. Children are the product of thier parents if the parents show no respect, then a child will only follow suit. I'm afraid society is changing all over the world. It's up to us has parents to try and make that difference.
