Akelius - good landlors or not? Are the 5* reviews true or paid for?

We want to rent a flat on North London and in our price range there is not a lot to choose from, or the agents say they get back to us about certain properties and they dont. What we have seen so far are either too big and very dated inside or too small for our family.
We have found some properties from Akelius and they are newly refurbished, nice area and almost at the same price as the others that we have seen. We like that they are clean and nice, because after having problems with mice and bedbugs in the begining of our renting experience, now we are scared to go through this again, especially with kids now. After reading some reviews, the most of the 5 ones seem to be dodgy ( they always give a name of an employee or 2, even with family name). The 1 reviews say they had problems with mould that have not been fixed and that they kept the deposit even though they left the flat spotless. Also others said that the builders make a lot of noise during the day.
Any experience with them, please?
We have 2 toddlers and the noise problem or the possible mould is worrying for us as we do not want to be stuck there for 1 year.
