Replacing the (asbestos) garage roof

We have an old garage which needs its roof replaced, mostly because said roof is made of asbestos - it's in reasonably good condition apart from that! Has anyone had this done and could talk me through the process? For example, will just one company do the work or will we need to get two - one to remove the old one and one to put on the new? Are there any pitfalls we should be aware of before we start? What's a ballpark figure for a reasonable cost (London)?

Any suggestions welcome!

My partner used to work for an asbestos removal company. Usually these companies specialise in only the removal so you'd need someone else to put the new one in. It's not so much the removal as the disposal that can cost a lot of money - I believe the cost would vary depending on location and different companies may give different quotes too.

I'd just leave it , it's no danger where it is. It's more likely to be cement asbestos which is low risk anyway.
