We are planning to move to Marlow in claymore park. I have a 5 year old girl. How is this area to live...please give me your views. I will be grateful.

I've 'visited' the houses on rightmove! They're lovely and spacious. I'd be a little wary of school places. I remember lots of year 6 tears, when children this far out of Marlow couldn't get secondary school places. The catchment's often MUCH closer to Great Marlow School than advertised. Fab if she ends up at Wycombe High, or any of the other Grammar schools. If your daughter already has a primary school place in Marlow, you'll be forever in the car for play dates.

Most of us in the area think of Claymoor as Booker in High Wycombe. I would check out every primary school you can reasonably get to for school places. That includes the ones in and around High Wycombe. Worry about secondary when you need to. However if your DD doesn’t excel at school, think about moving house into catchment for what secondary school you want in y5. Don’t wait to be disappointed.
