Do I need to hound my solicitors?

Squeaky wheel gets the oil etc.

We are selling to ftb. Our homebuyers is done, searches done, they have a couple of queries which have been put to our solicitor.
We are buying from someone not buying anything else. Homebuyer done, waiting to receive a copy. Searches done. We have two queries (a fire not included on contents and whether we can purchase a few bits).

Do I need to be ringing regularly to check responses? I just want to crack on.

Yes!
Give them a ring at regular intervals, find out what the problem is, is there anything you need to do etc.

A couple of times a week is probably plenty. But having a relationship with them helps. I got to the stage where I could ring up and say 'hiya, it's glittery what's going on?' With out having to explain it's Glitteryfrog I'm buying 28 Generic street name etc.

You don't have your homebuyers report that may contain a deal breaker they are almost certainly holding off in case there was something that require renegotiation or you choose to walk away.
