Mice!! London Pest control recommendations please

Hi,
Just that, please can anyone please recommend a pest control company that successfully got rid of a mouse problem in London? It’s for a small 1st floor 1 bed flat. Google is coming up with a load of companies, thinking of using Rentokil as I know the name but wanted to check first.

Don't use the private companies - call your council pest control dept and for roughly £100 they will sort it.

A cat...

Cat sadly not an option.

@growing I didn't know the council did private residential work but just checked and they do, great option as I tried a private companies years ago who were rubbish, thanks.

if you can bring yourself to do it, Screwfix sell excellent spring traps - quick clean kill although you do then of course have to dispose of the body.

it's that time of year where they are coming in again.

The only thing that worked for us was getting a cat. We did try to poison them before we got the cat but they would come out and die in front of us and it was really disturbing watching them suffer like that. Shame you can't get a cat. They really are the best at keeping mice and insects at bay.
