Mouldy goods (from a dry storage container)

Is there any hope?
All our stuff is in storage after moving back from the tropics a year ago
All packaging looks bone dry as does the container. But when I unwrapped the very first item the wood was all dusty green. Is all lost? Was the damp wrapped in when it was all packed?
Anything that gets mould off wood or leather? I assume divan beds and bedding etc. will likely be doomed.

For info for anyone wondering: the wooden screen and a heavy vi spring wool mattress were most affected. Everything else seems and smells okay. These were from rooms which were less used and had air con on less often so may have had more existing damp).
Pest/damp control man who was visiting said that worry over mould is over hyped and it is more damp conditions plus mould which leads to illness.
