Integrated or freestanding oven/hob? I can't decide!

We're currently planning a new kitchen with units in a 'galley' layout and double doors opening out onto the garden at the end.

Worktop space is a bit tight (as is the cash), and I can't decide whether to go for a built in double oven with an integrated hob alongside, or to go for a freestanding cooker, again with a double oven. With either option, we'd be looking at an induction hob.

The first option looks sleek and modern but the second seems more spacesaving somehow. MN jury, help me make up my mind. I'm going round in circles here!

Integrated

Looks sleeker and reasoner to clean.

With all these decisions I found go with your gut. The amount of times I’ve been swayed and then it niggles me is unreal, I then have to wait a reasonable amount of time living with this decision before I get to change it to what I originally wanted(thankfully have a very understanding husband lol). We have a galley style kitchen and I went for two single ovens in a wall unit, as a double was not big enough for us and I was sick and tired of bending with heavy casserole pots etc. It’s amazing how much you can fit in pan drawers which are under the hob and I have storage above and below my ovens. We went for the hide and slide doors on the ovens also which I find brilliant as when you get the children running about there is nothing for them to run into and you can keep a steady flow of traffic without having to walk around a door. Go into show rooms and play with their different designs if you get a chance as that can help too. Not sure if that helps but good luck in your decision!

We are having this debate at the moment. I don't think I can bring myself to sacrifice the worktop space for built in. Could really do with a freestanding cooker with a service void, but I think that's moon on stick territory.

I'm well and truly stuck on this one! I just don't know what to do. I think the next step is to get both options laid out and priced up by a kitchen designer, and then make a decision

Gah! First world problems I know, but I could really do with the kitchen planning fairy right now!
