Thought I’d start a thread to get some general advice/support on the nightmare that is subsidence 
We have it in our late Victorian house, and from what I can gather from news reports/google, there are going to be a lot of claims over the next few months after the hot dry summer.
Any advice on grappling with insurance or managing what I fear will be a lengthy process would be very welcome! Also, anyone else going through the same thing - hop on! Maybe we can compare war wounds.
