Do estate agents have to do floor plans?

Or do they have to outsource this to an outside company? If so how does the company know what the house looks like, do they visit the house or do you have to give them a rough sketch?

The photographer that our estate agent sent send also did the floor plans. She measured the dimensions of each room as she went round and sketched it onto a notepad.

Estate agents do it themselves - ours outsourced it to the epc guy since they have to measure all the rooms anyway so he bungs him a few quid to the floor plans for him (Purplebricks)
