Front door- same colour inside and out?

Current front door is plain wood- I've picked the paint colour (Oxford Blue) and have painted 2 coats of primer on, but am hesitating before painting as I can't be sure whether to paint both sides of the door blue.

Our hallway is long and dark- will having the inside of the door blue make the hallway darker, or will it look crap to have the inside white and the outside blue?

I would decorate each side to match the rest of the space. So if your hallway woodwork is painted white, then I’d paint the inside of the door white too. It’s quite hard to see both sides of the door at the same time, so I doubt you’d notice it on a day to day basis.

Ours is dark blue outside and white inside. Original large Edwardian door, dark blue inside would be very imposing and dark.

In our house we have a red door outside and white inside. Our hallway is all white wood and grey so red would clash terribly.

Ours is red outside and white inside. I wouldn't have red inside as it'd be too dark for the space.

Mine is f and b railings inside and out. I love it. Love dark doors. Also doesn't get grubby.

Mine was black on the outside and white inside. It was black when we bought it but it was too dark for the entry.

Mine is pink on the outside and yellow on the inside.

Cheeseplantandpickle I'd love to see a picture of your door. Just bought a wooden door from Howdens and have always dreamed of a yellow door. Been looking at little Greene paint colours and have fallen for the colour mister David which is a mustard yellow.

Was also going to paint in different colours for the outside and inside (but not white as I love colour and my walls are white so want it to stand out)
