New bathroom grout is wrong

Got bathroom done by reliable team while away on hols (have only one bathroom and small kids). Have had a grout disaster before and so was very careful in getting the right grout (darker grey) for floor and nice soft grey for walls (plain square white in metro pattern) for walls so that it wasn’t overwhelming. Have just got home, bathroom is just waiting for sink unit.

Grout has been done the wrong way round. It’s just so overwhelming on the walls! Tell me what to do or if I’m reasonable in complaining about this!!

I need to see the grout bags as I had got the woman in the shop to write on them which ones were which. It’s possible this got done wrong way round. So I don’t want to jump in and accuse the guys of getting it wrong. However I did have a long conversation with the company owner about getting it right which will make it annoying if it is their fault.

How onerous is grout removal? Sad

They’ve also got completely the wrong towel rail - I wanted Victorian style (they just don’t get that - in Northern Ireland where the style is ultra modern with big beige tiles, so even though the white metro tile with traditional bathroom fittings look is overdone in many places it’s quite unusual here.) towel rail, which they made a big fuss over, is wrong, square and very modern.

If it's not what you told them you wanted then you get them to change both the grouting and the radiator. Removing grout is messy but short term pain rather than years or looking at it and thinking it's wrong.
