Combi boiler or boiler and separate water tank

Just looked round a house and the estate agent tried to convince me that having a boiler and hot water tank is preferable to having a combi boiler??? Isn’t that rubbish or did he have a point??

A Megaflow is a brand of unvented hot water cylinder ( other brands are available which cost less and work just as well). It’s is not a boiler.

We have a megaflo all vsisiting plumbers have commented that it's a good reliable tank and it is. Always have plenty of hot water.

We have a separate Worcester boiler which heats the water and rads

We have a separate switch to over ride the boiler so in the event of a boiler break down we still have hot water

I'd recommend it

Why are you having a combi, if you're getting a Megaflow? Are there lots of showers?
