Help! How to decorate kitchen

DH and I have bought a new house and we have completely gutted it. We're now at the point of putting it back together and we are planning on ordering the kitchen this weekend - but I have no idea at all how to decorate it!

I'm sick to death of looking at Pinterest, I feel like it's the same stuff over and over again. I like a more industrial looking kitchen, or as I say to DH I'd love it look like an apothecary. I won't budge on a white(ish) quartz worktop but no idea what else to do. It's a kitchen diner and is quite a dark room so can't have any dark coloured cabinets (I would love navy blue ones)

If anyone has any good ideas of places to look for inspiration or ideas of what coloured tiles or cabinets might look good then I'd love to hear!

Dark cabinets are often recommended for a dark room (white can look washed out). The worktop will lighten the space.

Is that true? I really like this kitchen with exposed brick tile, but wood flooring and white worktops, but we have one large north facing window and one west facing window in a room that is about 5x10m.

Yes. Get some door and paint samples and see what you think
