House design help needed. Can you rate these?

Having some trouble with choosing a design, would be great to get other peoples perspective.

DH and I are going around in circles here!

What are the various rooms? I think I'd probably go for a 4/2 split, not 3/3.

Can you mock up version 5: like 1, but with the small gable over the door.

It is detached, the rooms are very flexible.

I’ll ask dh to try some changes.

The attic is definitely something we want to do.

2 or 3. Really dislike 4 and think it would look super weird in real life.

Is the gable really essential? It makes the roof more complicated and therefore presumably more expensive and also more likely to fail (at the valleys).
Do a simple pitched roof but have a bit of decoration with the fascia boards and a porch instead?

Sadly we are required to :(

1. I hate guttering, always filling with debris and joints failing. Also like drainpipes to have as little visual impact on design as possible.

Ah, OK. But, on the plus-side, gables are aesthetically pleasing.

1. It gives you the most readymade space if you ever consider a loft conversion.
