We had LVT (not sure what brand as it was already in when we moved) replaced last year and new karndean laid. However there’s been problems with it bubbling. The fitters came and lifted some and see that the screed has cracked.
We have a technician visiting but the fitters have made initial suggestions: damp/issues with the previous screed.
They are approved fitters and we have our karndean guarantee so they SHOULD know what they’re doing.
So when you had karndean laid did they do a damp test first? Who’s responsibility is that to check? If it’s an issue with the previous screed (which they obviously screed over) then again would that be their responsibility to fix as they caused the issue with their actions?
Or is it not going to be a battle I’m going to win
