I’ve seen many Facebook ads for companies who can fit a solid roof on an existing conservatory. Has anyone had this done? Is it a good idea or something that will lead to issues down the line? Our conservatory is wood framed and has a solid wall either end (its kind of built in between garage conversion and the outside kitchen wall) so it is sturdy. Part of it is a flat roof and part is a pointed roof. Anyone know what they use to do it? We have just moved in and are using it as a family/playroom but this hot weather has made it difficult to be in the last couple of weeks. I can use the blinds for the windows but a roof would make it a brilliant room. Pictures attached showing the solid walls.
