Getting rid of old paint

Where do you dispose of old paint? I have three tins, half full. Wasn’t allowed to leave them at the dump.

Will the council dump accept them if they are completely dried out?
Otherwise maybe a local charity housing project may want them.

Phone the Council and ask them. All the recycling sites (tips/dump) here have a section for old paint.

Our dump doesn’t! I was specifically told they couldn’t accept paint.

Not all dumps have facilities for paint. Your local council website should tell you where the nearest one is that does.
