Polyflor LVT -any opinions

I’ve seen some Scandi pine LVTs in both Karndean and Polyflor.

I have a karndean floor down at the moment so I know it is good quality. Do you have any opinions on Polyflor please? Thanks.

I've got Polyflor in my wetroom - it's the one that's got tiny raised circles so it's non-slip, and it curves up the walls by about 2". It's only been down two years but it's has done its job perfectly. I would say that, like with Karndean (I have that in the other bathrooms, kitchen and utility), a lot depends on how well it was laid. I would NEVER attempt to fit it myself and I'm good at DIY. Our flooring company has guys who are specifically trained by Karndean to fit those floors because it is so important that they're watertight etc.

(My old kitchen had a Karndean floor which was still in perfect condition after 12 years, not a single lifted corner or obvious wear and tear)

Thanks! I’m in the flooring store now! Smile

We’ve got camaro flooring in our kitchen and bathroom (which I think is made by polyor?), very happy with it and would choose it again.

Brilliant to hear! The quote was really reasonable plus the fitting! The advisors in-store were really good. I would recommend their initial service. Fingers crossed, I’ll be able to recommend them afterwards. Smile

Polyflor make Karndean - it's the parent company. Polyflor branded products are often used commercially.

I don't think that's correct - Karndean are a British family-owned Business.
Polyflor acquired the central-Europe licence for Karndean in the late 90s but they don't own the company, or the British licence.

Well if I'm wrong, I'm wrong - it's something I was told a while ago. All the LVT products (there are other manufacturers too) are very similar, but there's a huge variation in price.
