Bathroom tiling question

If we tile the entire bathroom floor and walls, do we still need skirting board/tile skirting? Or can we just put sealant/grout around the edges? Clueless here!

No, Ours are tiled right down to the floorboards..Fitted vinyl flooring sealed at the edge covers the join.

We had skirting with tiles above in our old house - looked better imo in an older house. Our current one has skirting and panelling.

Sorry, autocorrect and poor phrasing from me. Can I just have wall tiles meeting floor tiles with no skirting of any kind? Or is there a reason why it isn’t advisable?

We have wall tiles all the way down to floor tiles, it was done a few months ago. Looks nice and sleek.

Our wall and floor tiles meet without skirting BUT I have all one tile. If tie doing different wall and floor tiles you may want to google for pics with arms without skirting.

I think skirting boards and skirting rules are really just there to protect plasterboad walls from dents, so if you have tiles on the wall you won't need them. Unless you like the look, or want a little ledge for dust to gather on (or maybe that's just my house 😂)

I tiled our small utility (which also has shower and toilet). It has dark grey floor tiles and lighter grey wall tiles. I created a skirting by using part-cut floor tiles as the lowest wall tile layer, but mostly because it's a small room and extending the floor tile into skirting makes the room look bigger. Looks good though I say so myself. Can't find a pic to prove it though.

You can have what you like OP. I prefer skirting boards in older houses or the skirting profile tiles you can get.

Ubercons I have seen similar with dark shades of floor tiles and it looks really good, it does make the floor and therefore the room appear larger. I've also seen with lighter floor tiles and the effect isn't quite as nice.
