Moving house

Hi, we are due to be moving house in a couple of weeks. Any thoughts about how long to take off work for moving? We will probably be going for the full packing removal service. I am also due to go on maternity leave at the beginning of September so will have 5 weeks before due date at home

We moved on a Wednesday. I took that day off and the Thursday. The packers came on the Monday.

No need to have had that day off but in hindsight I should have had the Tuesday off.

It was very hot though that made it harder. DH was also at home. (Sahp) All DC at school.
