Fitting a new plug socket in a cupboard in kitchen

Can this be done?

We have a tall cupboard which is empty. I want to mount my Dyson V6 in it! But it needs a plug socket. If I call an electrician can they do this?

Probabably. Where is the nearest existing socket?

Are you lucky enough to have a row of sockets running along the wall 150mm above worktop height?

Is there a wooden floor?

Hi @pigletjohn,

Nearest socket is on the counter top about 1.5 meters away. It's a Lino floor.

Is the lino on wood or concrete?

Cables are commonly run under wooden floors.
