I think it is an interesting house but the photo of the lilac throw irritates me a bit, think the photographer was useless in not straightening it after walking past before taking photo

I have seen it from outside/HW side as our friends live there too. They used to see him out and about walking his dogs. He was very friendly with smile and hello SmileSmileSmileSmile

Thought you guys might like a look SmileSmileSmile

It looks like the ikea bed slidey thing.

TheDishRanAwayWithTheSpoon · 07/08/2018 00:37

All the beds are really sloppily made, in the main bedroom the two pillows are at completely different angles, it looks like someone had a nap and then took the photo!
I spent ages looking for the lilac throw haha, but it was on the brochure and I agree that's really annoying.
The house is kind of blandly decorated, and sometimes it looks a bit cheap. It looks like a holiday rental

TheDishRanAwayWithTheSpoon · 07/08/2018 00:39

I also noticed the pool completely changes colour, one it's bright blue the other it's a dirty green, I think they are probably both photoshopped

TheDishRanAwayWithTheSpoon · 07/08/2018 00:41

There's also no photos of the kitchen

buckeejit · 07/08/2018 09:29

And there's no divet cover on one of the beds. I'd be super pissed off with the EA here. When I sold my last house for £170k the EA pointed out anything that could be fixed to look better

SubtitlesOn · 07/08/2018 13:27

Oke doke thanks - will take a look in IKEA SmileSmileSmile

Think EA whole advert is very bad presentation

The missing kitchen photos,
Bedding issues
Pool coloured in
and the awful thing of not being able to count bathrooms!!!!!

It's a lovely location and I'd buy it for that alone.

But it's all a bit too "Ikea" design for me, bit devoid of personality.

And fuck cleaning all that glass Grin

If that house has been 'dressed for sale' then the dressers need sacking as well as the estate agent's photographer. Duvets missing covers, pathetic thin pillows, duvets that only just fit top of bed. Could all have looked much more luxurious.

I love it though - am not a modern house fan in day to day life, but somehow they really work in these coastal settings. I'd love it as a holiday home, furnished differently. (Dreams on ...)

nononsene · 07/08/2018 13:55

I really like the house. Could do with some better furniture though. Can't believe they didn't make the beds properly before taking those pictures!!

ShotsFired · 07/08/2018 14:01

It is definitely a house not a home (I assume it's been de-personalised for selling)

Reminds me of a posh private hospital though...

I wonder if the seagulls come in through those huge open folding windows?
