I think it is an interesting house but the photo of the lilac throw irritates me a bit, think the photographer was useless in not straightening it after walking past before taking photo

I have seen it from outside/HW side as our friends live there too. They used to see him out and about walking his dogs. He was very friendly with smile and hello SmileSmileSmileSmile

Thought you guys might like a look SmileSmileSmile

It’s a bit fugly. Odd to have such an expensive pad and not have it interior designed.

glasserator · 06/08/2018 21:14

Clearly he has moved out and the house has been dressed for the photographs!!

keyboardkate · 06/08/2018 21:17

Good move by GN. That house is so ugly.

Although it has some great views just the same, not 2.3million pounds worth though!

But a house is worth what someone else is prepared to pay for it, right?

LEMtheoriginal · 06/08/2018 21:22

Six bedrooms and one bathroom? Shock

MeMeMeow85 · 06/08/2018 21:37

I really like the house. So true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

feelingbloo · 06/08/2018 21:40

I live near herbrand walk too - looks like he's sold it just in time!
All those road works and road closures will be a nightmare!

DarkDarkNight · 06/08/2018 21:54

It’s really nice, the bedroom overlooking the sea is lovely, but I bet it’s a bit grim on a grey winter’s day. It does look like a Holiday let, but I suppose if you have a few houses and don’t use them a lot that might happen. Of course he has probably removed personal possessions to stop snoopers.

How strange of the EA to get the listing so wrong with the bathrooms. There’s loads of them - cloakroom, family bathroom, master bathroom, ensuites.

serbska · 06/08/2018 21:56

What’s not to like?

Great views. Fab layout. Lots of good size bedrooms and bathrooms.

It’s right up my street that is! Shame I can’t afford it.

serbska · 06/08/2018 21:57

I’d have the whole top floor as mine - bedroom, bathroom and a dressing room. Perfect :-)

buckeejit · 06/08/2018 22:19

Love it - all about the view. When we moved home 5 years ago, the removal men had been moving GN the week before and were saying GN was really dead on and helped carry lots of stuff out to the lorry.

keyboardkate · 06/08/2018 22:20

Who the heck would be a celebrity?

There is something to be said for being ordinary people where the viewers just look at the house and don't judge the owner! (unless the place is minging and that will often bring a bit of a discount!)

But there we are. Bet he doesn't care anymore now. Privacy costs a lot though!

I'd love his BIG bolthole in West Cork, Ireland though. Looks idyllic to me anyway. Sigh.....

drspouse · 06/08/2018 22:26

It would be awfully cold in bed with those windows open. Think of where the wind would blow.

ShesABelter · 06/08/2018 22:32

I love that house. No idea why it says 1 bathroom though when there was about 5. Six rooms is perfect for us. One for each of the kids, one for me to escape to when dh starts snoring and a spare still for guests. Shame I don't have 2 million lying around.

LatteAndLettuce · 06/08/2018 22:50

Given it's sold STC, why would you invade someone's privacy like this?

PickAChew · 06/08/2018 23:04

Bloody hell, my house isn't worth vastly more than the stamp duty and we live in an expensive pRt of our area. And have 3 reception rooms!

wowfudge · 06/08/2018 23:19

What do you mean @LatteAndLettuce? It's hardly private when it's on the internet for anyone to see.

LittleBearPad · 06/08/2018 23:30

It doesn’t say who has bought it Latte. What a strange comment.

All the cushions needed plumping.

naichick · 06/08/2018 23:36

Ahh I knew he had a house along there but didn’t know which one. That one is one of my faves! I grew up in Little Common so know it well but never seen him around!

naichick · 06/08/2018 23:38

Also thats train service from Cooden beach to london is awful!

HerRoyalNotness · 06/08/2018 23:47

That would be a dream house for me. I hATE how they agent listed it as 1 bath when there are clearly 4-5. Makes me twitch.

gleegeek · 07/08/2018 00:04

Thank you OP! We were swimming in the sea just along from there on Saturday and trying to guess which was Graham Norton's house. What a view! Not my style inside tbh but love the look of his house in Ireland.

Mustardy · 07/08/2018 00:04

@SubtitlesOn this is bugging me now, where is the lilac throw????

GrainneWail · 07/08/2018 00:08

The views are fantastic from that house, but the west Cork location is just heaven on earth. I know someone who loves near him in Cork and apparently he's absolutely lovely, engages in the community, donates loads to local charity auctions, etc and is a generally nice bloke.

Cardiganandcuppa · 07/08/2018 00:17

Oh I love it.
I wonder if he would just gift it to me if I asked nicely, he seems lovely.

SubtitlesOn · 07/08/2018 00:23

Lilac throw/blanket is at the end of one of the guest beds

It has obviously being knocked by someone walking/brushing past bed and then a photo taken AngryHmmAngry

Also agree with others that cushions and pillows need fluffing up and arranging better

Hopeless estate agent IMHO who takes awful photos without taking care of what they are showing and can't count bathrooms!!!

I like the shelf thingy at end of bed that you move/slide up the bed as a table for brekkie or lap top etc, we had one of them in a hotel in Vienna, although the bed had huge extra wood around the bottom and kept knocking shins on it
